Future Leaders For Peace

ISAAC will start taking applications for its youth advocacy program “Future Leaders For Peace” in February. Youth in 8th-12th grade will be eligible.

ISAAC’s primary goal for its youth is to ensure that their voice is present in both their community and school settings, as well as local, state, and national policy arenas. “Future Leaders for Peace” will provide tools, activities, and resources that support youth-led advocacy, collective youth organizing, policy mobilization planning and engagement in social justice campaigns.

The program will draw from practice-based modules and refers to community organizing and youth development theoretical frameworks. This youth program has been developed with our member congregations and organizations and with Kalamazoo County partners. Watch for application information next month.
