Lest we Forget!

Are there a lot of bad things in your life going on? Are there a lot of unique and different things going on in the world today? Do you find that it’s so easy to focus on all of the bad things that are going on around us? I find that it’s so easy to focus on all the negative things around us that we forget all the blessings we actually have. I find it’s so easy to focus on the hate and discord in our society without realizing the overabundance of love and unity. It’s so easy to focus on the clouds in our lives without realizing how many days the sun has actually shined brightly in our lives.

I find it’s the same in our work for social justice. It’s so easy to focus on the things that are not happening and miss all of the actual progress that we have made and are making. I just want to remind us to stop and smell the victories and appreciate the progress that God has blessed us to experience.

Thank you God, for all of the ISAAC family and the many victories you have blessed us with.
