A special welcome to Manager Malcolm Hankins, his wife and family!! Beloved Community Members joined the ISAAC Family for food and fellowship as we met our new City Manager Malcolm Hankins!! In 2025, after co-hosting community listening sessions with partner organizations, many of us advocated for Hankins during the interview process as the strongest candidate. Hankins held not only leadership experience in city government, but he also centered community engagement, equity and humanity in his policies and practices.

With a true community feeling of fellowship, joy, connection and laughter, we had delicious food from Black Truffles Catering (Chef Jai) and wonderful captured moments from EyesOpen Photography (Bro. Remius) and ISAAC Family Members.

Various Clergy and Leaders offered video messages of well wishes, blessings and prayers to Manager Hankins! Many community members commented on how blessed they were to meet our new Manager face-to-face. Thank you, Manager Hankins, for being committed to being present and connected to our Kalamazoo Community Family.
