Day of Racial Healing – Save Jan. 16

Save the Date: January 16th – Day of Racial Healing. Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation is a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.  It was launched in January 2016 with a year-long design phase and builds upon and complements the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s decades-long commitment to advancing racial healing and racial equity throughout the US.

Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) seeks to unearth and jettison the deeply held, and often unconscious, beliefs created by racism—the main one being the belief in a “hierarchy of human values.”

See more at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation website.

Save this date!  You will want to be at the Day of Racial Healing on January 16, if you can!
