Interfaith Strategy for Advocacy & Action in the Community

Sunday Buses & Late Night Buses are Here!

Metro RidesSunday buses and Late Night Buses are finally a reality! Congratulations and thanks to Friends of Transit (ISAAC & Disability Network Southwest Michigan) for long years of advocacy, to Metro Transit and the Central County Transportation Authority for a great job making all the schedule and route changes needed, and to all the voters who supported the transit millage one year ago! This is great progress for our community—for workers & employers, businesses and customers, churchgoers, students, seniors, and everyone else who needs the bus or takes the bus to help care for creation!

Huge thanks to the ISAAC leaders who co-founded Friends of Transit with the Disability Network and have worked faithfully for this day since 2003 or 04! Rev. Linda MacDonald, Brenda Stubbs, Jack Urban and many more, you have done very impressive work partnering with Disability Network and Metro Transit to build a more just community.
