Youth Violence Prevention Task Force News

As part of our listening campaign, the Youth Violence Prevention Task Force is hosting two round table discussions around the topic of bullying. One of these will be held at Galilee Baptist Church on Saturday, March 12 from 12-2 p.m., and the other at Unitarian-Universalist Community Church in Portage on Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Both round tables are open to all Kalamazoo County Youth. Last Saturday, a group of young people from Gull Lake, Portage and Kalamazoo Schools were trained to be facilitators at these round tables. We are excited to have these young leaders participate in an active way. They are Future Leaders For Peace. Your youth are invited to the next training:
