The Youth Violence Prevention Task Force is putting their heads together to present a Round Table with the aim being:

  • To create an avenue of open communication between youth authority figures
  • To let youth know their voiced needs are heard by those who have the power to bring about change
  • To recruit and retain youth who join the YVP Task Force.
Together with youth from all around Kalamazoo, there will be representatives at the Round Table from the following groups:
  • PTSO from many schools
  • Superintendents from different districts
  • School Board Members
  • Police Chief & Sheriff
  • City and County Personnel
  • Parents
  • Community Organizers
  • Spiritual Leaders
Conversations regard bullying and other topics regarding Youth Violence are needed. Please feel welcome to join this task force. Call the ISAAC office, 341-4213 for meeting times and details.
