President’s Message

Doug King2Psalm 118:24 – This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. (NKJV)

What a great day to be a part of such a powerful organization. As we are now on the heels of an extremely powerful 15th Anniversary celebration, let us rejoice in what God has done. I think everyone (especially the ISAAC staff) are experiencing wearied exuberance. Everyone is extremely tired from their labors but are also excited over what has been accomplished, as well as, what’s to come in the future.

Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work. Because of everyone’s dedication and commitment we are continuing to powerfully move forward. We are a great organization that has the honor of serving in such a great city and being surrounded by such great people. ISAAC is committed to continuing to address the social justice issues that are important to our “Beloved Community”. As we collectively face the challenges in our nation, it’s easy to become weary and discouraged and think that change is not possible and will never come. Therefore, we must continue to work together and know that not only is change possible, but it will happen.

Let us each be the change that we want to see!

Galatians 6:9 – And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (NKJV)
