You are invited to this Health Equity Workshop whether you’re a health professional or a community member. This one-day training is designed to help develop the common language necessary to explore how discrimination and social identities impact health outcomes. It will address how racism, sexism, ableism, and other oppressions lead to negative health outcomes, and how discrimination enters the body to damage life and health.
The workshop is on Saturday, July 29, 9:00am-4:00pm, at Douglass Community Association, 1000 W. Paterson St, Kalamazoo 49007.
