Rev. Nathan Dannison Chosen for Foundation for Excellence Board

Congratulations to Rev. Nathan Dannison!  We are very pleased and proud to have you chosen for the Foundation for Excellence board.

Rev. Dannison is the Senior Minister at First Congregational Church, which is a founding member of ISAAC, and he was previously an ISAAC community organizer who worked with Rachael Tanner and Jomil Wells on creating ISAAC’s original Beloved Community initiative.

See the Mlive article about him: Rev. Nathan Dannison tapped for at-large foundation board seat . It lists all the other Board members chosen as well.

Rabbi Matt Zerwekh from Temple B’nai Israel, which is also an ISAAC member congregation, was previously chosen as the Faith sector representative on the Foundation for Excellence board. See https://isaackalamazoo.org/rabbi-matt-zerwekh-chosen-foundation-excellence-board/ for the article about Rabbi Matt in January’s ISAAC News.

Hallelujah!  We are deeply grateful to have two ISAAC clergy members helping to guide the City’s Foundation for Excellence policy decisions. We know their voices will be clear and powerful for creating the Beloved Community in Kalamazoo.

“It is important for me to be an ISAAC donor due to the significant work that has been done on behalf of early childhood education.”
