Oh what a night! This is exactly how I felt after our recent Public Meeting on October 6, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist church.
What an awesome night of celebration and commitments! The community support was amazing, which just overwhelmed our hearts. The Task Force skits were both entertaining yet compelling. The feedback that I’ve received regarding the event has been nothing short of sensational. I think it’s safe to say that I, and all the leadership of ISAAC, are still reeling from the impact of the event. I just marveled at the expressions on people’s faces as they were informed on so many topics dealing with our three focus issues. Although each of our focus issues is extremely serious, the atmosphere of the night was both joyous and celebratory. Every facet of the night just seemed to flow together like a mighty justice stream, permeating the hearts and minds of those in attendance.
A huge thank you to all who participated and made this event what it was. Again, thank you to the Kalamazoo Community for your continued support of the vital social justice work that ISAAC engages in.
To God be the glory!
